Since you been gone... (There is no perfection without the essencial) |
Since you been gone, everything has been more simple, easier, faster... I never have got later for work or delay to wake up... I do not want stay in bed "doin' some sloth" All in my life now is in perfect order, clean, on the track...
However, since you been gone, everything looks dead... Like I lost the colors, there is no blue sky, there is no white clouds, as everyday was a eternal thunderstorm, like when you look through the horizon and you just can see a gray sky with brighting rays...
The sun was warm, but I could just think about your arms... There is no warm like yours...
Since you been gone, I have lived because it's necessary to survive, and I have our children to keep, but even them can't make my life less miserable...
Since you been gone, I am counting the days... and suddenly I see that one specific day, a tomorrow after a lot of tomorrows will be happier and coloured as no other... (Hey, Honey, this ends my theory that all day is good cause tomorrow is always worst than yesterday, isn't true?)
After all, once more Saint-Éxupery was right, the "essencial is invisible to the eye".
